Bio
From the moment I first held my Canon AE-1 at 2, photography became a way to freeze time and tell the stories that captivated me. My early years were spent transforming everyday moments into lasting images. However, the rich culinary traditions of my French heritage soon led me to become a chef. I spent decades perfecting the art of cooking, though my camera never strayed too far.
Life has a way of bringing us back to our beginnings. After a fulfilling career in the kitchen and authoring two cookbooks, including an Amazon Top 50 book on French cooking, I have returned to my first love—photography. Today, I focus my lens on the world around me, particularly the beautiful and fleeting landscapes of Vermont.
My current project, "Portrait of an American Barn," is a passionate endeavor to capture and preserve the barns of New England before they vanish into history. Through photography, I aim to share the incredible stories these structures hold, frozen in time, just like the moments I first fell in love with as a young boy.
