Northern Exposure (Vermont) Photography Group (NEVT) is a community of photography enthusiasts brought together by a shared love of the craft—and a connection to Vermont. Our members include year-round Vermonters, seasonal residents, visitors, and friends of the group who feel drawn to the state’s landscapes, people, and changing light. What we have in common is an interest in photography as a creative, hands-on pursuit and a desire to learn from one another in a supportive, community-driven setting.

Skill levels in the group vary, and that’s part of the strength of the community. Whether you’re building confidence behind the camera or bringing years of practice to the group, members are encouraged to participate, contribute, and stay curious. Mutual respect is at the heart of everything we do.
The idea for a photo group grew out of conversations within the Milton Artists Guild in late 2017. Our first official meeting took place in January 2018 under the name Milton Artists Guild Photographers.
As the group grew and evolved beyond its original home, we rebranded in January 2022 as Northern Exposure (Vermont) Photography Group, better reflecting both our broader reach and our shared sense of place.
